FUDODAI was originally an exchange shop and brewery in the Edo period, but it was founded in 1869 and transformed into the soy sauce industry.

To this day, FUDODAI is proud to preserve and inherit the local flavor of Kyushu Kumamoto.

Crystal Soya Sauce

To celebrate FUDODAI's 150th anniversary, a transparent soy sauce was developed.

Transparent soy sauce is not born because of "check-in", but has practical application reasons.

The taste of transparent soy sauce is the same as the manufacturer's Honjo soy sauce, but because it is transparent, the color of the ingredients will not be affected by adding soy sauce or marinating in soy sauce. Transparent soy sauce allows the ingredients to not only enhance the flavor of the soy sauce, but also retain its original fresh and beautiful color, maximizing visual and taste enjoyment. On the other hand, it can also avoid the soy sauce stains that you are most afraid of staining your clothes.

The transparent soy sauce uses FUDODAI's own home brewed soy sauce and solidifies it, then uses special distillation technology to make it transparent, and finally blends it into a delicious soy sauce.

Clear soy sauce, which has the aroma and flavor of soy sauce but no dark color, is a new generation of Japanese seasoning. It can be enjoyed in various dishes, not only in Japanese cuisine , but also in Western cuisine. Because clear soy sauce has no color , can be used in dishes instead of table salt without affecting the color, but can bring a richer salty and fresh taste than salt.
