Asaba Temari Ornament Making Class
Asaba Temari Ornament Making Class
Japanese traditional handicraft Temari, also known as Temari in Japanese, is a folk art that was introduced from China to Japan. Use flowers, animals and other patterns as design elements to embroider the beauty of nature. In ancient times, mothers would embroider a hand ball and give it to their married daughters. When their daughters missed their parents' home in the future, they could look at the hand ball given by their mothers as a token of their love, which was full of thoughts and blessings. Nowadays, it is used as a gift, for example: weddings, hundred-day parties, birthdays.
